The website software that helps power the THN has been upgraded. If there are any issues with the upgrades (Including login issues), please send a PM to Brammers or start a thread in the THN forums .

Update: 21st Jan - The registration process has been fixed - apologies for anyone who has not been able to register over the last few days. 

Evo2.2 and the Items DB, means there will be a few issues like what to do with old with old items. I would be grateful if you could read and maybe reply to this post on the official forums here.

Item's DB 1.1.7 has been finally released. This release adds the missing editor in the administration backend, so finally we can process all those item updates!

Over the next week, I will be making a 2nd site for holding the Ev2.2 updates, but there will be updates to the 2.1 Items DB first, as there are a lot of broken images to fix.

Update: Upgrade completed! 

The item DB will be unavailable for about 30 mins between 13:00 and 17:00GMT - 9th Dec 2006.

This is to allow for some of the data to changed to the correct format, which will make life a lot easier for me, and also for Evo 2.2 updates. Click on the Read more for the real technical details.

The THN webserver will be rebooted at around 18:30GMT today (7 Nov 2006) This means the Tech Haven Network will be unreachable for a few minutes.

This reboot is required as part of the previously announced software upgrades that are taking place. I apologies for the inconvenience this may cause.

Update: Reboot completer - server took a few minutes to come back, it decided now was a good time to fsck the disks in ther server.

Just a small warning there will be a planned outage at on 7-Nov-2006 at 12:00GMT for a few minutes. This means the THN web server will be unreachable for a few minutes.

This is to allow the co-lo hosts in Redbus, London to reboot a network switch where the THN web server is connected to. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Please note this is not part of the current work that is being carried out on the THN webserver.

From Monday 6th November 2006 for 1 week, the THN web server will be receiving a large number of software upgrades.

There will be times when the server is slower than usual to respond, or it may go down for brief moments. One of the major upgrades will be the upgrade to Apache 2, and this may require some extended downtime.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused, but the software upgrades are necessary for the future smooth running of the server, and I will try to announce any extended downtime.

P.S. I also have the names, addresses and baseball bats of the sys-admins, so if they do screwup, I will be arranging a personal visit!

This is a small update to start work on the 1.1 series. There will be very few visible changes in the 1.1 release. I wanted to get the Google sitemap working to see if that improved searching for items.

- Added Google Sitemap
- Moved special handling to a different URL /db/task (Like http://www.techhaven.org/db/task/missing-images )
- Changes last updated date to Date added
- Added new field - Date updated.

Thanks to the power of Google Custom Search Engines , there is a search engine that will search any Neocron website that is known to us.
