Update: Upgrade completed! The item DB will be unavailable for about 30 mins between 13:00 and 17:00GMT - 9th Dec 2006. This is to allow for some of the data to changed to the correct format, which will make life a lot easier for me, and also for Evo 2.2 updates. Click on the Read more for the real technical details.
Some of the data, such as requirements, armour modifiers and item modifiers are stored in an odd format. First of all the number is stored in a string format, so this is being converted numeric formats. Then there is another column for indicating + or - values. The modifier value is being converted to the correct "direction" so if the direction is -ve and the modifier value 10 the new value will be combined to -10 Why -FN- did it this way, I don't know, maybe he knew something that I don't. Also some un-needed data is being dropped, which is the image sizes, as this information is held in the image. Also the Item DB code will be updated to 1.1.6, with a 1.1.7 and 1.1.8 planned over the weekend, which will be Evo 2.2 aware. |
