A few weeks ago, we upgraded our forums, and now thought it was time to tell you about our new THN forums. Our rather old and highly customised forums have now been upgraded to run on phpBB3. This project was planned to be done back in 2008. For various reasons the project has been delayed so I hope no-one minds this project being 5 years late. ;) However we would like you to tell us what you think of the new forums, so we wouldn't mind some feedback in this thread. Finally I would like to thank everyone over at the Phoenix Forums for testing the new code and skin, and also a big thanks to nEo-1664 who did a lot of the hard work in getting the new skin for the forums sorted. |

There has been a tidy up of the THN forums lately in preperation for the upcoming forum upgrades. What I've done is archived a lot of old forums and removed a lot of groups. This includes old clan forums. Since no clan forums have used their clans for years, and the majority of clans have their own private clan forums, we will be discontinuing all clan forums. Any clans with posts left, have been contacted with further details. There are other groups which have been removed, and you find that you no longer have to certain posts or forums. Do not worry as we have safely archived them, and made a note of all member groups. So if you find you cannot access something, please leave a note on the forums or drop me a PM . P.S. Forum upgrade date is "soon". |

All "Archive" forums have been moved to a new category to keep other forum areas in better shape, due to this it may appear that some forum areas have been removed. This is not the case - you simply have to scroll down to the bottom of the forum where you will find the "Tech Haven Network Archive" category.
If you have any problems accessing forums you could previous to this change please PM myself , Brammers or the THN CPU and these issues will be resolved as soon as possible. |

The forum software has been upgraded to the latest version of phpBB. This was a bit more than a minor upgrade, and since the THN forums has some customisations, it's possible I may had broken things. The upgrade may had effected the rest of the THN website as well.
Please report issues here. Update: 6-Nov-2005 I have now enabled the code in the forums that allows you to login once to the THN, and have access across the whole THN wesbsite. Any issues please report it in the above link. If you had auto-login enabled you may have to logout and login for this to take full effect. |
