Sandstone catacombs under the desert, infested with poisonous snakes.
LocationsGravesis a unique cave, located in Ancient Yucida Village in K13
Enemies | Snake Minion 70/70 and Large Snake Minion 80/80 - Brows slitehring snakes, that hit with long time but low damage poision stacks, and a weak biting attack at close range. | | Sandviper 90/90 and Sandviper King 100/100 - Vicous stripey snakes, with a more painful bite and more damaging poison stack attack. The Sandviper King also spawns Snake Minions. | | Bloodviper King 120/120 - Big bad boss of the desert catacombs. Builds up highly damaging and long lasting poison stacks at quite a quick rate. Also spawns Sandvipers. |
LootThe snakes drop large quantities of entrails, tendons etc, making for quite good junk - recycling into booster 3s nets a large excess, while sale could be reasonably profitable. The Bloodviper King can also drop techs as well as being the exclusive source for the Viper King Chestplate. TacticsThe mobs in the Graves reist poison more than other damage types. The poison stacks in this cave will provide a problem for most runners with the exception of droners (drones are immune to stacks). For those who intend on taking the sandvipers on, a large collection of antidotes is near essential, or preferrably a PPU with Holy Antidote. The snakes tend to cluster in groups, making area of effect attacks especially effective. NotesThere is a map availble here on the THN of the graves. It seems that the graves were built as a place for burying the dead by people who lived in the former Yucida Village - the room containing the Bloodviper King appears to be for the nobles of this society. Traditionally an almost exclusive droner hangout, however an APU/PPU or Tank/PPU team has an easy enough time, without the overcrowding often present in chaos caves. |
