Enemies | Small Crystal Cave Bat 70/70 and Crystal Cave Bat 80/80 - A normal looking bat, but attacks with poison damage with a long lasting stack.
| | Small Crystal Cave Flapper 90/90 and Crystal Cave Flapper 100/100 - Similar to swamp flappers, however small like a normal bat. Gives very damaging posion stacks. | | Crystal Cave Queen 120/120 - (Cave 3 only) The boss of the Crystal Caves. Spawns a collection of the smaller bats if you get close. Also lets out a powerful fire attack. |
LootGeneral junk from the bats and flappers - highest value probably being large entrails and muscle sinews. The queen sometimes drops techparts, an assortment of junk and basic bones. She is also the only source for the Batqueen Chest and Batqueen Arm boneenforcements. TacticsWith the majority of the enemies dealing poison stacks, both high poison resist and a way of removing said poison is a good idea. A PPU with holy anitdote is a very favourable partner - antidote drugs often fail to keep up with the rate of stacks. Using green dragon can also be expedient in the abscence of natural poison resist. Be careful of the queen's fire in contrast to the other damage, however. Most damage types seem effective against the bats. NotesCrystal Cave 3 features the "Bridge Over Hell" where supposedly the Beam of Hell was found. Crystal Cave 2 features a giant hurler named Vaskulus, who must be defeated as part of the Crahn Epic Run. Crystal Cave 1 exists, but is without any NPCs and is not normally accessible.
